Doug Morgan ... President Doug Morgan, a CFA, CIM ... President, is happily married to his wife, Tamara. His two daughters, Sabrina (3 years old) and Julia (1 year old), keep him hopping. Getting Sabrina to ballet class or helping Julia get up and walk makes every day exciting. In his off time, Doug works for Calgary Transit as the Manager of Service Design. His group looks after all the scheduling and dispatching of buses, as well as customer service. Striking a balance of meeting customer expectations, while remaining fiscally responsible, takes up most of his time. Doug has worked for the City of Calgary for over 12 years in various positions in Transportation. Doug has a passion for intellectual pursuits. He graduated as an engineer in 1991. He obtained a Masters Degree in Engineering in 2000 and an MBA in 2007. He has been involved in many technical societies, such as the Institute of Transportation Engineers and ITS Canada.

Amit Udeshi ... Vice President For the past 10 years, Amit has held various technical and leadership roles in the Information Technology Services department at the Calgary Board of Education. Recently he has changed his career trajectory, currently working as the Manager of Organizational Development in the Leadership Centre, within the Office of the Chief Superintendent still at Calgary Board of Education. Amit is a life long learner; He attended the Devry Institute of Technology, finishing with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. Amit has taken various technical courses through out the years and has completed a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management throughout an online program with the University of Phoenix, in 2007. Amit is happily married, has a 20 month old daughter with another child soon to arrive. Amit Udeshi joined as a Board Member for Child Find Alberta in 2006.

Shirin Bhimani ... Secretary Shirin Bhimani has served as a volunteer on a variety of committees within the Ismaili Muslim Community ranging from economic planning board, health board, women’s development and several Aga Khan Foundation Canada initiatives. In addition, she has participated in mentoring young women through the Famous Five Foundation. She graduated from the faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Alberta in 1983 and has worked in community pharmacy as well as operated her own mail order pharmacy business. She completed her Master of Business Administration and graduated from the Alberta/Haskayne Executive MBA program in June 2007. She holds active memberships with the Alberta College of Pharmacists and the Alberta Pharmacists Association. Shirin joined CFA board in late 2006 and currently serves as Secretary on the Board as well as chair on the Media/Public relations committee. She is a strong believer in education as a means of crisis prevention and looks forward to contributing to the business challenges of a non-profit organization.

Murray Brown ... Past President Murray originally hails from Victoria B.C. and has been an Alberta resident long enough now to call himself "local". He has a wide range of experience in the financial services industry covering 35 years in various types of management and leadership assignments and locations across Canada. He currently manages a retail banking operation for a major Canadian bank in Lethbridge Alberta where he resides with his wife Peggy who has tolerated him for 37 years. He has 2 adult children, Amber and Tyler, both living in Calgary and between his paying job, his work with Child Find and visiting the kids, he and his wife spend many hours on the highway. Murray has been active in various board roles for several years and in addition to Child Find, remains active with Trout Unlimited Canada and the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation. He has been part of the Child Find Alberta team as volunteer and board member for the past 6 years. Murray is an avid fly fisherman with a passion for the outdoors and open spaces.

Christine Gardner ... Board Member A year of Firsts: This is Christine's first experience sitting as a board member, having joined Child Find Alberta in 2006. Christine came back to her roots in Calgary two years ago, with her fiancé Jasen. Born in the west but growing up in the east; she is very excited to back. Her job has moved her cross country, and garnered 10 years banking experience with the same organization. She was ready for a new challenge within the company, and took on a position within Human Resources, travelling across the Prairies supporting Southern Alberta and Manitoba. Although the travel and experience was great she was looking forward to getting back to the world of retail banking. Christine has recently taken on a first time Branch manager position in High River Alberta. When she is not banking or volunteering Christine enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Jim Layfield ... Board Member Jim Layfield joined as a Board Member for Child Find Alberta in 2005. Jim has a CMA Accounting Degree. His work experience has taken him through the Oil and Gas industry from 1967 to 2003. Jim was born in Stockton-On-Tes in northeast England. Jim married Doreen in 1966 and immigrated to Canada in 1967. Jim and Doreen have two sons, both born in the 70’s. Jim is currently enjoying retirement and volunteering his time with the Jr. Achievement group and The Calgary Food Bank. Jim also finds time to assist Child Find Alberta as the Treasurer of the Board.
